This is a site where you can learn about how to improve your mental health, reduce symptoms of disordered eating, depression, trauma, and anxiety, and understand how to improve relationships and marriages.

My counselling practice focuses on Marriage Counselling and helping Individuals with Depression, Anxiety (all types), Eating Disorders and Trauma Symptoms.  I am very dedicated to my profession.  I use Cognitive Behavoural Therapy (CBT), Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), Mindfulness, and the Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC), and Certified Gottman Couples Therapist (CGT):  I have practiced as a Counsellor for over 20 years.  I have a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology (UBC).  My office is in the heart of Richmond, BC., Canada although no in person session are allowed due to Covid-19 Safety.

I’ve now been happily married for over 35 years, raised two children, and throughout my 24 years of counselling experience, I continue to love my work.  I’m always learning about new research and clinical treatments.  It is important for me that my practice offers the most current and effective therapy available.

I welcome people of any faith, culture, race, sexual orientation, age (over 16), and income.  Diversity, inclusiveness, and sensitivity to world regions and religions is a central value in my life and couselling practice.  Living in Richmond as part of a bi-racial family and learning about diversity of all types are great privileges in my life.
